A Few Reasons I Love Being a Mom
I love my son more than words can express but I thought I'd list a few reasons I love being his Mommy....
1. He loves me unconditionally.
2. He's super cute.
3. He makes me smile.
4. He's brought so much joy to my parents.
5. He makes me want to be a better person.
6. He sleeps all night.
7. He looks just like his Daddy.
8. His smile melts my heart.
9. His crazy hair makes me smile.
10. He cuddles with me.
11. His beautiful eyes.
12. He has my long fingers.
I could keep going on but it all boils down to the fact that I can't believe my husband and I made such a beautiful person! My mom use to always tell me that I would understand unconditional love when I had a child of my own and she was right! I would do anything for Joe Jr and I will spend the rest of my life showing him how loved he is!

Isn't it wonderful being a mommy!? I'm glad you are enjoying it! It does go by so fast, though!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy every minute! It's so exciting how every day brings something new! Before you know it, Joe Jr. will be eating big boy food, crawling, then walking and running, saying his first word and then talking in sentences, learning to read, then starting school! (I could go on and on!)
ReplyDeleteI love that your blog can chronicle your journey through mommy-hood, perhaps I'll start one soon for my little girl, or maybe it'll be my project for when I have my next one! :-D Cherish these times, I wish they could last forever!
You said that he sleep through the night. I have heard that is one of the best things to experience once once having kids. I have only experienced my neice and my nephew when I have stayed at my brother's house past the kids' bedtimes.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy all the little things while you can. It seems my niece was just born, but she is almost 5.
This is so sweet. I hope you save these blogs to show him when he is older. You are such a sweet mama.
