Busy Day
Today I went with a friend to take our kids to the state house for a children's authors book signing. This was super exciting. We got 2 free books, one of them was a Marc Brown book Arthur and we actually got his autograph!! How exciting is that? :)
Down side is my son is nosey, so he didnt take a good nap today and it's 11PM and we just got him down for the night! Whew! This is one exhausted mom! I know we won't be doing much tomorrow because he is definitely getting his name tomorrow!

How neat! It seems like it was a busy day. Unfortunately, it doesn't change much as they get older. I wanted Andrew to take a nap because we had a wedding to go to last night. No such luck, and by 8 PM at the wedding, he was an absolute terror! :( We ended up heading out early!

ReplyDeleteLittle known fun things I've found so far...
1) The Gap has stickers behind the counter for little kids. They don't always give them out, but if you're child is really well behaved (or really fussy), they'll let them pick one out!
2) The Cheesecake Factory has a complementary baby plate at breakfast time. It has slices of fresh banana, strawberry, and both types of bread.
3) If you're in a fix looking for a place to breastfeed, many stores willingly let you do it in their dressing rooms. At least they directed me to them at Target! :-)
